From Nike Hallways to a New Challenge
After nearly three decades at Nike, where he led multibillion-dollar businesses across continents, Scott Munson brings a rare blend of creative, analytical, and operational expertise to Klutch Athletics. His most recent role as VP/GM of Asia Pacific Latin America Men’s Business included oversight of $4 billion in annual revenue and leadership of cross-functional teams across Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, India, Australasia, and Latin America.
Munson’s earlier roles at Nike included Global Vice President of Men’s Basketball, where he guided the brand’s strategic reset in performance culture; Global VP of Football Apparel, where he launched hallmark projects like the PSG x Jordan Collab and the Naija kits for Nigeria’s national team; and Global VP of Consumer and Market Research, overseeing Nike’s long-term consumer insight pipeline.
Beyond sportswear, Munson’s leadership extended to marketing innovation: he co-launched Nike Air Max Day, initiated the SNKRS App, and guided the creative debut of Nike Tech Pack and Nike F.C., projects now integral to sneaker and apparel culture.
