Nike set November 1, 2026, for the India debut of Vegam Run, with expansion into other markets planned for 2027. The company announced the schedule in its October 28 newsroom release.
Nike describes Vegam Run as its first running shoe created for India. The design combines cushioning, ventilation and durability for regular runs and everyday wear, with input from Indian athletes informing its development.
A faster route to market
The company says it progressed from design brief to confirmed product in 55 days, with approximately five months between concept and launch. That timeline puts product-development speed alongside the shoe’s regional focus.
Nike’s announced initial India channels are Flipkart and select retail locations, followed by wider distribution across its Indian partners in spring 2027.
