RCX Sports and National Police Athletic League partner to expand NFL FLAG football bringing inclusive youth sports programming skill-building and community engagement to hundreds of neighborhoods across the U.S..
Expanding Youth Access Through a National Partnership
Announced October 2025, this strategic alliance is rooted in a shared mission: to break down barriers and provide high-quality, inclusive football opportunities to children ages 5-17 in communities nationwide. With the partnership, more than 300 local PAL chapters—serving nearly 2 million youth annually—gain access to NFL FLAG resources and event support, fortifying one of the country’s largest youth development networks through sport.
RCX Sports, which operates official youth leagues for major sports including the NFL, NBA, WNBA, NHL, MLS, MLB, and USTA, will support PAL in operating and growing local NFL FLAG programs with licensed uniforms, tournament blueprints, curriculum, and sustained operational guidance. Together, the organizations will prioritize safe play, mentorship, leadership, and life skills—ensuring participation means more than just keeping score.
Building Stronger Communities, Not Just Teams
Regional outreach plays a major role in implementation. RCX and National PAL will work hand-in-hand to direct NFL FLAG programming where it can transform lives—especially in underserved areas.
Izell Reese, CEO of RCX Sports, said:
“This partnership is a natural alignment of two organizations committed to using sport as a powerful force for good. By working together, we can break down barriers to entry, build stronger communities, and ensure that every child—regardless of their background—has the opportunity to play, to thrive, and to be inspired through sport.”
NFL FLAG and PAL will layer football programming atop longstanding PAL activities, cultivating athletic skills, character development, positive police-youth relations, and a lasting sense of belonging for all participants.
Operational Excellence and Ongoing Support
The collaboration promises robust support structures for PAL staff and local volunteers. RCX will provide training, assist with league startup events, and offer end-of-season tournament scheduling templates and guidance, elevating the overall quality of the youth sports experience. RCX is also set to play a major role at the National PAL Annual Conference beginning in July 2026, signaling a deep, ongoing commitment to youth sports equity and excellence.
Chris Hill, CEO of National PAL, said:
“The resources and support that RCX Sports and NFL FLAG will bring to our chapters is going to be transformative for thousands of PAL kids across the country. And it will be fun.”
Troy Vincent, Sr., Executive Vice President of NFL Football Operations, said:
“PAL chapters offering flag will expand options for youth to play flag or tackle, transition to tackle from flag, or remain in flag, reflecting the inclusion, affordability, and accessibility of football for all.”
A Lasting Impact
By expanding pathways from flag football to tackle and beyond, and by weaving valuable life lessons into every play, the RCX Sports and National PAL partnership is poised to inspire and uplift future generations—one community at a time.
