Vaquera and Converse are returning with a second collaborative silhouette: a puffed sneaker heel first shown on the Vaquera Fall 2026 runway in Paris, with a retail release confirmed as coming soon. The new design follows the XXXHI and XHI Slouch Wedge, the two brands dropped together last year, continuing an ongoing dialogue around exaggerated Converse construction.
From runway to retail
The puffed heel debuted at Vaquera’s Fall/Winter 2026 show in Paris during March, where the Converse collaboration anchored the footwear component of a collection built around distorted archetypes and exaggerated silhouettes. Moving it from runway to a standalone product announcement signals the piece has commercial legs beyond the show context.
The collab’s trajectory
Vaquera’s partnership with Converse has built steadily across two drops. The wedge silhouettes from 2025 established the brand’s appetite for reworking Converse’s Chuck Taylor base through unconventional construction. The puffed sneaker heel extends that approach, applying exaggerated scale to a familiar form.
No release date or pricing has been officially confirmed as of publication.
