Jordan Brand is expected to expand its Air Jordan 4 “Thunder” story next year with a new women’s exclusive Air Jordan 4 “Pink Thunder,” bringing bold pink hits to the much-loved black-based formula. While the pair has not yet been confirmed by Jordan Brand, multiple leak sources point to a Holiday 2026 release via Nike and select retailers at a projected starting price of $220.
A New Chapter In The Thunder Series
The rumored “Pink Thunder” continues a lineage that began back in 2006, when the first Air Jordan 4 “Thunder” landed in a striking black and yellow color scheme. Since then, Jordan Brand has revisited the formula with the “Red Thunder” and “White Thunder” editions, each sticking to the same high-contrast blocking while swapping accent colors.
According to early reports from zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files, the Air Jordan 4 “Pink Thunder” is set to follow that template with a predominantly black upper offset by bright pink detailing. The combination aims squarely at fans who love the classic AJ4 shape but want a more playful, color-driven twist on the original “Thunder” look.
Expected Design Details
While official imagery is still under wraps, mock-ups and early descriptions suggest a construction built on black nubuck with pink accents doing the heavy lifting. Pink is expected to appear on the winged eyelets, behind the mesh panels on the upper and tongue, and across sections of the midsole, creating a familiar yet refreshed take on the Thunder aesthetic.
One detail that will catch collectors’ attention is the heel branding: where previous “Thunder” colourways, including 2024’s “White Thunder,” featured the Jumpman logo, the “Pink Thunder” mock-ups swap in Nike Air branding in white. That shift leans into the ongoing appetite for retro-correct touches on the Air Jordan 4, especially on high-profile releases.
Release Timing, Pricing And Access
Current guidance from leak outlets pegs the Air Jordan 4 “Pink Thunder” as part of Jordan Brand’s Holiday 2026 slate, with a launch window running between October and December 2026. The shoe is expected to release in women’s sizing via Nike SNKRS and select Jordan Brand retailers, with a projected retail price of $220.
Alongside Nike, early lists of likely stockists include major chains such as Foot Locker, Finish Line, Dick’s Sporting Goods (DSG), Hibbett and Shiekh, although final allocations will only be clear once the drop is officially confirmed. Until Jordan Brand shares first-look imagery and locked-in dates, the “Pink Thunder” remains a highly anticipated but still-rumored addition to the AJ4 lineup.
