Alaïa is turning gifting season into a high-glamour accessories moment, spotlighting its Wave Jewel Mules in a sculptural “Gift Edit” campaign shot by photographer Guido Mocafico.
The Wave Jewel Mules
The Wave Jewel Mules appear in the maison’s Gifting and Sandals edits as a new hero shoe, crafted in suede with a fluid, wave-shaped silhouette and jewel-encrusted heel that reads like a wearable sculpture. On the Alaïa site, the style is listed at about $2,200 in the United States, with multiple sizes available as part of the Winter Spring 2026 and Summer Fall 2025 assortments.
Designed to frame the foot with minimal upper and maximal impact at the heel, the mules extend creative director Pieter Mulier’s exploration of curved, architectural lines that echo the house’s ready-to-wear silhouettes.
The Torsion Jewel Belt
The Torsion Jewel Belt is a key accessory in Alaïa’s gift edit. Designed by Pieter Mulier to match the Wave Jewel Mules, the belt features twisted metal hardware decorated with inset jewels.

The Gift Edit vision
The Gift Edit sits within Alaïa’s wider accessories and gifting category, which pulls together shoes, belts, and bags under a seasonal banner for clients looking for high-impact, high-value presents. By focusing on just one statement item—the Wave Jewel Mules—the brand underscores a philosophy of fewer, exceptional pieces rather than a crowded gift guide.
Shot by Guido Mocafico, known for his meticulous, still-life style, the campaign frames the accessories as art objects, reinforcing Alaïa’s position at the intersection of couture craft and collectible design.
