lululemon has announced lululemon Gives, a new global impact initiative and evolution of its acclaimed Centre for Social Impact. This lululemon Gives global impact initiative 2025 is part of their broader efforts. Rooted in the brand’s long-held belief that movement and mindfulness can transform communities, the program aims to equip 20 million people worldwide. It will provide tools and resources to strengthen their mental health and well-being by 2030.

This new chapter builds on lululemon’s legacy of purpose-driven leadership, expanding its influence from yoga studios and running tracks to communities around the globe.

Building on a Legacy of Impact

With wellness challenges escalating globally, from loneliness to growing mental health crises, lululemon Gives centers on two core pillars: movement and mindfulness.

The company will invest $100 million USD through 2030. This is in addition to the $75 million already committed over the past five years. Since launching its Centre for Social Impact in 2021, lululemon has helped 10 million people access wellbeing programs. lululemon Gives aims to double that reach within the next five years.

“At lululemon, we’re committed to advancing the wellbeing of our communities and are proud of the progress we’ve made,” said Calvin McDonald, CEO of lululemon. “There is an urgent need for greater access to mental health support, and our deep understanding of movement and mindfulness positions us to make a meaningful global difference.”

Partnering for Global Wellbeing

Through lululemon Gives, the company will expand its partnerships with both grassroots and global organizations to deliver resources where they’re needed most.
Collaborations include:

  • Center for Healing and Justice through Sport,  promoting athlete wellbeing through training and outreach.

  • Mission 44, founded by lululemon Ambassador Lewis Hamilton, cis reating youth-focused movement and mental health experiences.

  • UNICEF, NAMI, and The Trevor Project,  expanding crisis response and counseling access worldwide.

  • The Jed Foundation (JED) and Jack.org,  empowering youth through education, mentorship, and mental health training.

  • Still I Run, BC Wheelchair Sports Association, and Women in Sports Empowered Hong Kong,  advancing inclusive, community-led fitness initiatives.

“Every community has unique needs around mental health and wellbeing,” said Anne Wintroub, Head of Social Impact and Engagement at lululemon. “We partner with organizations that reflect lived experiences and create impact that lasts.”

Empowering Employees to Give Back

Beyond external partnerships, lululemon Gives encourages employees to be changemakers within their own communities. Team members can participate in:

  • Volunteering programs

  • Community grant review panels

  • Matched giving initiatives

These efforts aim to foster connection, empathy, and shared purpose inside and outside the workplace, aligning employee wellbeing with the brand’s global mission.

Advancing the Centre for Social Impact

lululemon Gives builds on milestones achieved since 2021 under the Centre for Social Impact, including:

  • Mental Health Support: More than 3 million people reached through UNICEF, NAMI, and The Trevor Project.

  • Youth Empowerment: Over 700,000 students and young adults supported, with 50,000+ trained through Jack.org.

  • Movement Access: Inclusive programs like BC Wheelchair Sports and Still I Run have engaged 1.4 million participants.

  • Global Networks: Collaborations with United for Global Mental Health now span 170 countries.

  • Girls Empowerment: Ongoing support for the Girls Opportunity Alliance, connecting 4,000+ grassroots leaders worldwide.

These milestones serve as the foundation for the next phase of lululemon’s mission,  bringing holistic wellbeing to communities at every level.

Local-First Impact Through Global Reach

The initiative’s first U.S. activation will take place in Austin, Texas, in collaboration with Mission 44.
The community event will focus on youth wellbeing through movement, connection, and mindfulness, featuring lululemon Ambassador Sri Amirah, who will lead sessions in yoga and meditation for local youth.

This activation reflects lululemon’s “local-first” philosophy,  creating measurable impact in communities while scaling globally through partnerships and technology.

The Future of Wellbeing

Looking ahead to 2030, lululemon Gives is guided by a clear vision:
to close the global wellbeing gap through movement, mindfulness, and connection.

By amplifying partnerships, investing in mental health access, and inspiring community action, lululemon hopes to build a world where wellbeing is universal,  fostering purpose, balance, and collective growth for all.
