On is rolling out a new Real Energy global campaign to launch the next generation of its Cloudmonster collection, positioning the max cushion franchise as a feel first, mood shifting daily trainer line.
Campaign shifts the running story
On is centering its latest running story around the Cloudmonster, launching a Real Energy campaign that positions the next generation of the model as a high impact update to one of its most recognisable franchise shoes. The push arrives as performance brands lean harder into franchise continuity and energy return narratives to keep runners engaged in a slower, more competitive footwear market.
Cloudmonster 3 family details
The Cloudmonster 3 line arrives in three silhouettes: Cloudmonster 3, Cloudmonster 3 Hyper and LightSpray Cloudmonster 3 Hyper. All lean on stacked CloudTec cushioning and Helion foam for high energy return, with the Hyper using more responsive Helion Hyper foam and the LightSpray Hyper adding a slipper style upper for the lightest build in the series.
Launch dates and rollout
The Real Energy campaign and Cloudmonster 3 drop on March 5, 2026, followed by the Cloudmonster 3 Hyper on March 19, 2026. The LightSpray Cloudmonster 3 Hyper gets a limited North America release on March 5 via on.com and On stores, then a full global launch on April 16, 2026.
Apparel and race activation
On is tying in Zero, Performance, and Volt apparel capsules that cover race day lightweights, everyday training layers, and bolder tech pieces. The brand is also spinning Real Energy into a global 4×4 relay concept called On Squad Race, starting April 11 in Beijing and expanding to 20 cities before a world finale in Los Angeles.
