Gear Meets City Life (The Concept)
This season’s PUMA x San San Gear collaboration revolves around ‘gear’ the evolved essentials for city living, mobility, and style.
The star products are two innovative sneakers: the Talon and the Mostro Caged. Taking inspiration from technical outdoor apparel and modern sportswear, all pieces feature a monochromatic black palette that underscores their utility and sharp, covert energy.
San San Gear’s reinterpretation of the iconic PUMA Mostro swaps its signature strap closure for half-covered, asymmetrical lacing, giving the shoe contemporary, architectural lines, while retaining the athletic attitude that has defined the Mostro for decades.
The Talon silhouette adopts a fully blacked-out aesthetic and progressive, sculptural proportions, expressing urban movement in every detail.
Completing the collection is a range of cut-and-sew apparel that sharpens the partnership’s vision. The jacket, shorts, and pants carry reflective cues, purposeful utility accents, and a minimalist design language for effortless wear in any urban context.
The knitted longsleeve features anatomical cut lines along the body and sleeves, promoting movement and echoing city dynamism. Accessories including a sleek bag and a cap with a distinctive tie-off closure add further functionality in daily routines.
Much like the Seoul cityscape that inspires San San Gear, PUMA’s collection campaign shots place the entire capsule amid bustling towers and concrete delivery routes.
The fusion of modular fashion, progressive sneaker design and adaptable apparel brings the energy of the streets to each piece creating gear for transition, action, and the in-between moments that define city life.
With a focus on progressive silhouettes, clean cutlines, and stealthy visuals, PUMA and San San Gear capture what it means to move freely in a metropolitan context, bridging the gap between technical sportswear and contemporary street style.
The PUMA x San San Gear ‘Full Throttle’ collection including the Talon, Mostro Caged, and all apparel is available starting October 31, 2025, via PUMA.com, PUMA flagship locations and select retailers worldwide.
Expect each piece to blend utility with style, making this a thoroughly modern kit for movement and creative city expression.
Fans of streetwear, utility-driven design, and creative sneaker collaborations should keep an eye on this ongoing partnership for even more concept-driven projects to come.
