The 74th edition of the X Games takes over the Utah State Fairpark and Event Center from June 27–29, bringing together the world’s top athletes in BMX, Moto X, and Skateboarding. With 20 medal events on the schedule, this year’s X Games promises gravity-defying tricks, fierce rivalries, and several historic firsts as athletes compete for gold in front of a global audience.
Women’s Skateboard Park: Youth vs. Experience
The action launches with the Women’s Skateboard Park, where 15-year-old Arisa Trew of Australia arrives as the favorite after winning gold at the last three X Games and the 2024 Paris Olympics. She faces Olympic silver medalist Cocona Hiraki of Japan and Ruby Lilley of Maryland, who already holds a silver medal and aims for the top.
BMX Street: Can Monster Energy Repeat?
BMX Street is a major highlight, especially after Monster Energy swept the podium at X Games Ventura 2024 with Kevin Peraza, Jordan Godwin, and Lewis Mills. This year, German rider Felix Prangenberg and 2023 gold medalist Boyd Hilder from Australia are determined to challenge the Monster Energy dominance.
BMX Dirt: Brady Baker’s Quest for Three
Brady Baker from New Jersey is aiming for his third straight gold in BMX Dirt after debuting with a win in 2023 and defending his title in 2024. He’ll be challenged by bronze medalist Mike Varga, Australia’s Ryan Williams and Jaie Toohey, nine-time medalist Daniel Sandoval, and rising star Kaden Stone.
Men’s Skateboard Vert: Legends Face Off
Defending gold medalist Tom Schaar leads the Men’s Skateboard Vert final, joined by seven-time gold medalist Elliot Sloan and Japan’s Moto Shibata. Expect a showcase of style, difficulty, and new tricks as these legends compete for the top spot.
Moto X Best Trick: All-Star Showdown
The first day wraps up with Moto X Best Trick. Jackson Strong, the most decorated rider in the event’s history, is back to defend his title against Japanese icon Taka Higashino and a hungry field including Julien Vanstippen, Genki Watanabe, and Ben Richards.
Saturday: BMX Park, Skateboard Park, and Women’s Vert
Saturday opens with the Men’s BMX Park final, featuring Kevin Peraza, Jose Torres, Anthony Jeanjean, and Daniel Sandoval. In Men’s Skateboard Park, Tom Schaar returns, seeking a podium finish against Kieran Woolley and Trey Wood. The Women’s Skateboard Vert event features Arisa Trew, World Champion Raicca Ventura, and Asahi Kaihara.
Men’s Skateboard Street: Nyjah Huston’s Title Defense
Nyjah Huston returns to defend his Men’s Skateboard Street title and add to his record 15 X Games golds. He’ll compete against Giovanni Vianna, Filipe Mota, Kelvin Hoefler, and Matt Berger.
Women’s Skateboard Street: Akama’s Golden Opportunity
In Women’s Skateboard Street, 15-year-old Liz Akama from Japan, already a six-time X Games medalist and Olympic silver medalist, is focused on capturing her first gold.
BMX Dirt Best Trick: Monster Energy’s Power
BMX Dirt Best Trick will see defending gold medalist Ryan Williams, Brady Baker, Jaie Toohey, Kaden Stone, Mike Varga, and Andy Buckworth competing for the podium in a session packed with innovation.
Women’s Skateboard Vert Best Trick: Breaking New Ground
The first-ever Women’s Skateboard Vert Best Trick contest highlights Arisa Trew, the first woman to land a 900 and switch McTwists, as she brings new tricks to Salt Lake City.

Sunday: Finals and Fan Favorites
Sunday opens with the Men’s Skateboard Vert Best Trick final. Elliot Sloan, Moto Shibata, and Tom Schaar are ready to unveil never-before-seen tricks. The Women’s Skateboard Street Best Trick contest returns, with Liz Akama aiming for gold after a bronze in Ventura 2024. In Men’s Skateboard Street Best Trick, Nyjah Huston and Filipe Mota are back for more. The Women’s BMX Park event features Kim Lea Mueller, Macarena Perez Grasset, and Nene Naito.
The event concludes with the Dave Mirra BMX Park Best Trick, where last year’s podium—Kevin Peraza, Mike Varga, and Daniel Sandoval—will be joined by Ryan Williams, Bryce Tryon, and Jeremy Malott for a thrilling finale.
