Adidas unveils record 19 player MLB draft class featuring 8 projected first round picks in 2025

Adidas takes its biggest swing yet in baseball by signing its largest and most elite MLB draft class to date.

Adidas is raising the bar in baseball talent partnerships, unveiling a record-breaking class of 19 MLB Draft hopefuls — the largest group of incoming draftees in the brand’s history and the most to feature eight projected first-round picks. This announcement highlights adidas’ unwavering commitment to shaping the next generation of the sport.

At the forefront is Ethan Holliday, adidas’ first-ever high school baseball NIL partner and the likely No. 1 overall Draft pick. Holliday’s signing not only serves as an indicator of the brand’s bold strategy but marks a pivotal moment for high school athlete partnerships.

“This year's draft class sends a clear message about adidas’ intent in baseball — we're betting big on young talent whose drive to achieve great things in the sport mirrors our own,” said Aaron Seabron, General Manager, US Sports & Creation Center Portland at adidas. “The hard work is only just beginning for our signees, but adidas is thrilled to celebrate their accomplishments and will do everything we can to support them and their future success.”

Adidas’ partnership with consensus No. 1 prospect Ethan Holliday is a clear indicator of its long-term investment in rising talent. Holliday, who became adidas’ inaugural high school NIL partner earlier this year, follows in the footsteps of his brother Jackson Holliday, now a prominent infielder and former No. 1 pick.

Alongside Holliday, adidas’ roster this year could see as many as seven additional top-10 picks, including:

  • Ethan Holliday (SS/3B) – Baseball America’s 2025 High School Baseball Player of the Year and projected No. 1 draft pick.

  • Jamie Arnold (LHP) – Tampa native, Golden Spikes Award Semifinalist, and No. 4 overall Draft prospect, coming off a stellar postseason.

  • Eli Willits (SS) – The youngest player in the draft, six-time high school state champion, and the No. 5 overall prospect.

  • Aiva Arquette (SS) – Kailua, HI standout, ranked No. 6 overall and a finalist for multiple national collegiate awards.

  • Liam Doyle (LHP) – Derry, NH native, No. 8 prospect, and recipient of numerous collegiate honors.

  • JoJo Parker (SS) – Gatorade Mississippi Baseball Player of the Year and No. 9 Draft prospect, signed alongside twin and fellow adidas athlete Jacob Parker.

  • Kyson Witherspoon (RHP) – No. 10 overall prospect, dominant collegiate pitcher, and award semifinalist.

Completing this dynamic class are Ike Irish, Steele Hall, Daniel Pierce, Brendan Summerhill, Gavin Fien, Xavier Neyens, Cam Cannarella, Quentin Young, Brady Ebel, Miguel Sime, Jacob Parker, and Malachi Witherspoon.

This influx of emerging stars joins adidas’ powerful lineup of MLB talent, which already includes icons like Julio RodriguezOneil CruzJackson HollidayTrea Turner, and Corey Seager.

Equipped for success, all adidas signees will sport cutting-edge Adizero cleats — including the recently launched Adizero Impact Candy Cleats, providing unmatched speed and traction for their on-field performance.

“The hard work is only just beginning for our signees, but adidas is thrilled to celebrate their accomplishments and will do everything we can to support them and their future success,” added Aaron Seabron.
