Canada Soccer and Nike have unveiled the new Canada Men’s National Team kits for 2026, giving the program a bold visual identity to carry into a FIFA World Cup on home soil for the first time in the country’s history. The collection went on sale via CanadaSoccerStore.com and nike.com from March 16, 2026, with a global launch following on March 23, 2026.

True North as a Design Brief

The collection is built around a concept called True North, drawing on Canada’s national identity, extreme environments, and the program’s rising confidence on the world stage. Design language across both kits balances heritage with forward momentum, framing a federation that is proud of its foundations while energized by what comes next.

Jesse Marsch, Head Coach of Canada Soccer’s Men’s National Team, said, “There’s a real pride in representing Canada. Our players understand the moment in front of us, including a World Cup at home and an entire country behind us. When we put this jersey on, it represents every place and every community that helped build The People’s Team. We take this responsibility seriously.”

Home and Away Kits, Explained

The home kit centers on a split toned maple leaf pointing north, framed as a gesture of collective ambition and progress. Craft led details inspired by Canadian outdoor apparel reinforce durability and precision, giving the shirt a grounded, unmistakably national character.

The away kit takes a sharper direction. A cracked ice graphic inspired by frozen landscapes captures both tension and beauty, while a frozen maple leaf etched like a skate blade ties the design back to Canada’s winter sports heritage. The away is positioned as a future classic built for intensity and forward drive through a darker, more disruptive visual expression.

Nike Aero FIT Technology

Both kits are built on Nike’s Aero  FIT performance cooling system, engineered at the yarn and stitch level to create a texturized knit that combines open and closed mesh zones, moves air across the body, and lifts fabric off the skin. The technology delivers more than twice the airflow of legacy fabrics, a meaningful performance advantage for a summer tournament played in warm conditions across North American venues.

Graphic elements and prints are engineered directly into the kits rather than applied on top, ensuring that visual storytelling never compromises airflow or performance integrity. The kits and accompanying Aero  FIT training collections are also Nike’s first elite performance apparel made from 100 percent textile waste, produced through advanced chemical recycling that yields recycled polyester yarn on par with virgin material.

Pitch debut and Retail Access

Canadian fans will see the kits in action for the first time on March 28, 2026, when Canada faces Iceland at 1 pm ET at BMO Field in Toronto, followed by a match against Tunisia on March 31, 2026, at 7:30 pm ET at the same venue. Those friendlies give the program two home appearances in the new kit before the World Cup window opens this summer.

The collection is available via CanadaSoccerStore.com, nike.com, and in retail locations nationwide, with the global product launch confirmed for March 23, 2026. For Nike, the Canada rollout is one piece of a much larger FIFA World Cup 26 kit cycle that is rolling out across all competing nations ahead of the tournament.
