Foot Locker is returning to NBA All Star Weekend for the third consecutive year with its largest activation yet, a multi day ‘Foot Locker Takeover’ centered at L.A. LIVE in downtown Los Angeles from February 12 to 15, 2026.
The event brings together exclusive sneaker drops, NBA star appearances, community programming, and brand specific experiences across a multi level footprint designed to connect fans with basketball culture and the city that helped shape the game.
Foot Locker Takeover structure
The activation is built around distinct brand zones for Nike, Jordan Brand, Converse, adidas, PUMA, Crocs, and New Era, each offering exclusive product launches, customization services, and content creation opportunities. At the center sits ‘The Clinic’, a full size LED basketball court hosting athlete appearances, daily programming, skills challenges, and drills led by elite players.
The setup marks Foot Locker’s biggest All Star presence to date, positioned as both a retail experience and a cultural gathering space that reflects the company’s ongoing leadership role in basketball and sneaker culture.
Exclusive product drops
The activation features a series of highly anticipated launches throughout the weekend, including the Retro Jordan 4 ‘Lakeshow,’ Jordan Retro 5 ‘Wolf Grey,’ Air Jordan Retro 6 ‘Infrared,’ Converse SHAI 001, and special Nike Basketball releases. Additional limited releases include a highly anticipated adidas collaboration, new and exclusive adidas Anthony Edwards 2, and the exclusive PUMA MB.05 LO LA.
PUMA’s zone will feature the Fast & Furious collection showcasing LaMelo Ball’s MB.05 and LaFrance models in an interactive retail setup, while Crocs will host a Creator Studio where influencers create content and host product giveaways. New Era is debuting an exclusive headwear and apparel collection with Jae Tips, who will be on site hosting a custom headwear patch station, alongside a New Era Design Lab and Cap Spa for fans to customize, clean, and restore their gear.
Athlete appearances and programming
NBA superstars expected to appear throughout the weekend include Jayson Tatum representing New Era, Lonzo Ball for Crocs, and additional special guests from Nike, Jordan Brand, and adidas athlete rosters. The Clinic court will host daily programming featuring these athletes in skills challenges, drills, and community focused basketball events.
For the third year in a row, Foot Locker will also serve as an associate partner of the 2026 NBA HBCU Classic Presented by AT&T, featuring Hampton University Pirates and North Carolina A&T Aggies men’s basketball teams during All Star Weekend. As part of that partnership, the Foot Locker Foundation will donate $25,000 to each school.
“For decades, Foot Locker has built a legacy at the intersection of basketball, culture, and community,” said Brett O’Brien, SVP and Chief Marketing Officer, Foot Locker North America. “We’re proud to return to basketball’s biggest stage with programming and product that reflect our deep-rooted heritage in the game and our commitment to the communities that shape it. By bringing together top athletes, creators, and local voices in Los Angeles, ‘Foot Locker Takeover’ reinforces our authenticity—celebrating culture, investing in community, and maintaining our leadership as the go-to destination for high-heat launches and the next generation of basketball fans.”
