Nike unveiled its 2026 FIFA World Cup federation kits on March 16, 2026, leading with collections for the USA, Canada, and Brazil. The company introduced Aero FIT, its most advanced performance cooling system to date. Moreover, a full global rollout covering all remaining Nike sponsored nations is set for March 23, 2026. This rollout is timed to the March international friendlies and ahead of the summer tournament.
Built for Summer Heat
The 2026 World Cup spans the United States, Canada, and Mexico, regions with climates that pose significant heat challenges for players. Nike’s Aero FIT technology addresses this directly, using computational design and a stitch specific knitting process to create open and closed mesh zones that lift the fabric off the skin and channel airflow across the body. Nike claims the system delivers more than twice the airflow of its legacy tournament fabrics.
Design Philosophy
Home kits are anchored in each federation’s cultural DNA. Tradition comes first, and they are identity led. Meanwhile, away kits are positioned as future classics: bold, generation defining designs meant to carry cultural weight beyond the pitch. All graphic elements are knitted directly into the fabric rather than printed on top. This process preserves both airflow and visual integrity.
Amy Montagne, President, Nike, said, “These kits bring the best of Nike together with an apparel innovation designed to remove climate as a variable for athletes and design that reflects a deep connection to each federation’s DNA.”
Sustainability Milestone
The kits and accompanying Aero FIT training collections are Nike’s first elite performance apparel made from 100% textile waste. This waste is processed through advanced chemical recycling into recycled polyester yarn. Additionally, Nike states the yarn performs on par with virgin material. This marks a meaningful step for the brand’s performance sustainability commitments.
Pricing and Access
USMNT and USWNT kits are available now for $175 USD on Nike.com and at select North American retail locations, including Dick’s Sporting Goods and ussoccer.com. The full global release, covering England, France, Portugal, and all remaining Nike affiliated nations, drops March 23, 2026, on Nike.com and retail partners worldwide.
For players, supporters, and kit collectors, these releases mark the official start of the World Cup season and a direct challenge to Adidas, which is dropping its own away kit collection on March 20 for Argentina, Germany, Spain, and co host Mexico.
