PGA TOUR Studios Taps SES To Power 5,000 Hours Of Annual Golf Coverage PGA TOUR Studios Taps SES To Power 5,000 Hours Of Annual Golf Coverage

PGA TOUR Studios has signed a new long-term agreement with SES to transform how it delivers live golf content worldwide, leaning on a hybrid mix of IP, fiber, and satellite, plus the SES SCORE orchestration platform to serve broadcasters and digital partners at scale. The deal is designed to simplify distribution, boost reliability, and give rights-holders a clearer window into how content moves from course to screen across 200+ countries and territories.

Hybrid Network For 5,000 Plus Hours A Year

Under the agreement, PGA TOUR Studios will use SES’s end-to-end sports technology stack and global infrastructure to deliver more than 5,000 hours of content annually to media partners around the world. That output spans live tournament coverage, non-linear highlights, custom feeds, and tailored formats for different platforms.

The hybrid distribution model combines satellite, IP, and fiber, allowing PGA TOUR Studios to route content over the most efficient path while maintaining the resilience needed for live sport. This setup supports both traditional broadcasters and streaming-first partners, reflecting how golf fans now watch across linear TV, OTT services, and social channels.

SES SCORE And Smarter Orchestration

At the heart of the partnership is SES SCORE (Sports Content Orchestration Enabler), a platform that gives content owners a single interface to book, manage, and monitor live and non-live feeds. For PGA TOUR Studios, SCORE helps reduce delivery complexity, centralizing content coordination and making transmission flows more transparent for internal teams and external takers.

Kate Sharp, Senior Vice President, International Media at the PGA TOUR, said, “The goal with all our coverage is to immerse fans in the action and help them feel as if they have a front row seat on the course…SES will help streamline operations, improve reliability and assist PGA TOUR Studios in creating a roadmap to ensure continuous alignment with our changing content distribution needs.”

Michele Gosetti, VP, Sales Sports & Events and New Media Applications at SES, said, “PGA TOUR Studios joins ATP Media, the NFL, and other major sports organizations in leveraging our unique SES SCORE platform and hybrid distribution capabilities…The combination of our sports expertise and advanced technology provides the state-of-the-art PGA TOUR Studios facility with a full operational platform to automate transmission flows, enhance monetization opportunities and simplify content orchestration.”

Joining A Roster Of Global Sports Properties

Through this deal, PGA TOUR Studios joins ATP Media, the NFL, and other major sports organizations already using SES SCORE and SES’s hybrid distribution capabilities. SES currently supports more than 700 hours of sports and live events every day, reinforcing its role as a key backbone provider for rights-holders that need reliable, global reach.

The alignment comes as sports sponsorship and media rights markets lean heavily into flexible, data-rich content delivery models, where being able to spin up custom feeds, localized graphics, and tailored highlights is crucial for value creation. For the PGA TOUR, partnering with a space solutions leader gives its production arm access to a mature network and tools without building everything in-house.

Inside PGA TOUR Studios’ State-Of-The-Art Hub

Launched in January 2025, PGA TOUR Studios is a 165,000 square foot production facility in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, adjacent to PGA TOUR Headquarters. The building houses all PGA TOUR media operations, from PGA TOUR Champions and Korn Ferry Tour coverage to more than 4,000 hours of PGA TOUR LIVE on ESPN+ each season, plus over 50 original, social, and digital media platforms.

Internationally, the PGA TOUR Studios-produced world feed reaches fans in 200-plus countries and territories in 30 languages via 39 broadcast and digital partners, making robust distribution foundations critical. By pairing that output with SES’s SCORE platform and hybrid network, the TOUR is tightening the link between production, delivery, and monetization at a time when live golf is competing for attention in a crowded sports landscape.
