PUMA and Scuderia Ferrari HP marked a milestone that few in motorsport apparel or automotive culture can claim, 20 years of relentless partnership, triumphs, and innovation. Since 2005, PUMA and Ferrari HP have shared countless moments on and off the track, from World Championship glory to the pulse of F1 street style.
The Legacy of Partnership—From Monza Magic to Modern Milan
The partnership’s 20th anniversary shines a spotlight on one of the greatest chapters in F1 history, Niki Lauda’s 1975 Monza win, a triumph that showed both technical brilliance and indomitable spirit. To honor this legacy, PUMA and Scuderia Ferrari HP went beyond product drops: they created a vintage-inspired Milan experience, the “Tifosi Tram,” designed for fans, influencers, and media to relive those classic moments firsthand.
On September 2–3, a historic Milanese tram wrapped in Ferrari red and nostalgia glided through the streets of Milan. Riders boarded with collectible, old-school ticket stubs and soaked in immersive visuals, storied atmosphere, and a living tribute to the Tifosi, the passionate fans that are the heart of Italian racing. The event turned heads on social media, as fans, influencers, and media personalities shared their journeys #TifosiTram.
“For 20 years, PUMA and Scuderia Ferrari have shared more than just success on the track—we’ve shared a passion for bringing motorsport closer to the fans,” said Thomas Josnik, Vice President PUMA Motorsport. “The Tifosi Tram is more than a moving tribute to Niki Lauda’s 1975 victory; it’s a celebration of the energy that drives both our brands forward.
Product, Fashion, and Motorsport: The 2025 Replica Collection
To pair with this year’s celebration, PUMA and Ferrari HP launched the 2025 Replica Collection, blending track technology with heritage-driven street style.
- The collection features Ferrari’s bold “Rosso Corsa” red, reimagined in oversized modern silhouettes, including T7 tracksuits and vintage racing jackets.
- Staples include team polos, caps, and hoodies, blending the look of the pit lane with current streetwear.
- Notably, racing icons Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton are center stage, both equipping the team on track and inspiring this year’s fashion-forward fan drops.
Pieces can be found at select PUMA stores, Ferrari retail boutiques, and puma.com.
The Tech and Storytelling Behind the Partnership
Over two decades, PUMA has not only outfitted Scuderia Ferrari HP’s crews with world-leading racewear and footwear—technology engineered for heat, safety, and precision—but also redefined fan culture through limited series and creative collaborations.
- Special Editions: The partnership regularly drops capsules like the yellow “Heritage” suit, Miami’s blue mechanics-inspired look, and exclusive colorways, creating fashion bridges across eras.
- Representation: The cat now appears noticeably on Ferrari’s cars, while ambassadors like Leclerc model both technical excellence and boundary-pushing style far beyond the paddock.
- Innovation: Today’s motorsport shoes, engineered to be as light as 180 grams, represent the pinnacle of performance and fashion adaptability.
Telling the Next Chapter
PUMA’s elevation from supplier to Premium Partner in 2025 means more creative control, deeper collaboration with Ferrari talent, and global storytelling that brings “the energy of F1 to the streets”. Fans can expect increasingly immersive events, digital content, and product drops that blur motorsport and everyday style.
As Thomas Josnik puts it, “For the fans, it’s like a football jersey, they wear what their idols wear on the track. And that’s exactly what makes the partnership so unique.”
