Teva, the global outdoor brand known for comfort and adventure, has joined forces with visionary designer and artist Sean Wotherspoon for a one-of-a-kind limited-edition collaboration. Officially launching worldwide August 14, the collection breathes new life into the brand’s hidden gems—headlined by the nostalgic yet futuristic Wraptor, revived alongside the Hurricane XLT2 sandal with fresh palettes, patterns, and a strong story.

Rediscovering the Archive: The Wraptor’s Comeback

For this collectionSean Wotherspoon dove deep into the Teva archive and uncovered the Wraptor—a bold, cult-favorite silhouette from the early 2000s that was ahead of its time. Built with Teva’s original 360° Wraptor strapping system, the revived Wraptor Shoe and Wraptor Sandal blend trail-ready outsoles and modern materials to offer a unique mix of stability, durability, and striking style.

Premium straps echo patterns and motifs lifted from Teva’s design vault, while quick-release buckles and upgraded nylon shanks provide trail-worthy support. Wotherspoon’s signature color palette brings playful energy to every pair, creating a hybrid shoe and sandal ready for city streets, remote hikes, and everything in between.

Classic Meets Creative: The Remixed Hurricane XLT2

The collection also features the Hurricane XLT2—a Teva staple now seen through Wotherspoon’s creative lens. Expect bold, retro-inspired palettes and tactile mismatched straps, each borrowing final details from early-2000s originals. Constructed with 100% REPREVE recycled polyester and hardware nodding to vintage outdoor gear, the XLT2 is both sustainable and unmistakably expressive.

All three silhouettes—Wraptor Shoe ($215), Wraptor Sandal ($200), and Hurricane XLT2 ($100)—merge performance and style, built for all-day movement and adventure across “Playground Earth,” as the campaign imagines it.

Collaboration With a Sense of Play

Launch Details and Pop-Up Preview

The full collection will be available globally beginning August 14 on teva.com and through select retailers. Ahead of the official release, a special pop-up in Japan (August 8-10) offered fans an early look, with Wotherspoon present to celebrate the launch and share the creative process.
