Nike is expanding its stability running portfolio with the debut of the Structure Plus, a new model that pairs the brand’s most advanced cushioning systems with the trusted support of the long-running Structure franchise. The silhouette marks the first time Nike has combined ZoomX and ReactX foams within a stability shoe, offering runners a softer, more energetic ride without compromising control.
The Structure line has historically served runners who favor a firmer, guided experience. Structure Plus reshapes that formula with a higher stack height, increased underfoot cushioning, and a redesigned midsole intended to meet the growing demand for comfort-driven stability solutions. As consumer interest shifts toward softer, more forgiving daily trainers, Nike positions Structure Plus as a performance option that brings modern cushioning to athletes who still require support.
The midsole introduces ZoomX foam as the primary cushioning, delivering lightweight responsiveness, while ReactX forms a supportive carrier that provides structure and stability. The result is a smooth, stable platform that maintains the hallmark guidance of the Structure series with an updated, more cushioned feel. The shoe features 42 millimeters in the heel and 32 millimeters in the forefoot— the tallest stack height ever within the franchise—supported by broad sidewalls and engineered overlays for stability during transitions.
Upper construction includes an engineered mesh designed for breathability and fit security, while the collar, tongue, and lining have been softened to improve comfort during longer efforts. The outsole incorporates a balanced rubber layout aimed at durability, grip, and efficient ground contact.
Structure Plus joins Nike’s everyday running lineup alongside the Structure 26, giving runners a two-pronged offering: a traditional stability model with a firmer profile, and a plush, dual-foam alternative for those who prefer a softer underfoot sensation. This addition underscores Nike’s strategy of expanding choice within its performance ecosystem as the distance-running market continues embracing higher-stack, cushioned designs.
