From the Heart to the Hands Exhibition And The Dolce&Gabbana Miami Debut From the Heart to the Hands Exhibition And The Dolce&Gabbana Miami Debut

From the Heart to the Hands: Dolce&Gabbana at ICA Miami is a large-scale, multisensory exhibition that immerses visitors in the creative universe of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. It traces how their ideas move from emotion and imagination to meticulously handcrafted garments and objects. The exhibition functions as both a fashion showcase and a cultural narrative. It celebrates Italian heritage, craftsmanship, and contemporary art in one expansive experience.

Exhibition concept

The exhibition is conceived as a “journey” into the minds of the designers. It highlights the path “from the heart to the hands,” meaning from initial inspiration to artisanal realization. It emphasizes how intuition, emotion, and storytelling become tangible through embroidery, tailoring, embellishment, and couture-level construction.

Curated by Florence Müller with set design by Agence Galuchat and production by IMG, the show is newly adapted to the architecture of ICA Miami. It reinforces the museum’s identity as a hub for contemporary visual culture. The concept bridges fashion, art, and exhibition design. It turns the galleries into theatrical, atmospheric environments rather than conventional clothing displays.

Scale and key highlights

The exhibition features over 300 pieces drawn from both archival and recent Dolce&Gabbana collections. These include Alta Moda, Alta Sartoria, and Alta Gioielleria creations. These looks showcase signature codes such as baroque silhouettes, religious iconography, Sicilian references, corsetry, lacework, and opulent embellishments.

Garments are staged across immersive rooms. Each highlights a different facet of the designers’ vision: romance, theatricality, and devotion to craft. They also feature reinterpretations of traditional Italian motifs. Visitors encounter a mix of couture gowns, tailored menswear, elaborate accessories, and one-of-a-kind pieces normally seen only on runways or private clients.

Italian culture and artistic dialogue

“From the Heart to the Hands” is framed as a love letter to Italian culture. It draws on art, architecture, folklore, regional landscapes, opera, and ballet as constant references. Themes such as the dolce vita, Mediterranean light, Sicilian religious festivals, and historical craftsmanship traditions are woven into both the garments and the scenography.

The exhibition also includes works by visual artists such as Quayola, Alberto Maria Colombo, Obvious, Vittorio Bonapace, and Felice Limosani. Their pieces are installed in dialogue with the fashion designs. This collaboration underscores Dolce&Gabbana’s positioning at the intersection of fashion, digital art, moving image, and immersive storytelling.

Miami dates, hours, and venue

At ICA Miami, the show runs from February 6 to June 14, 2026, marking the next stop after sold-out runs in Paris, Rome, and Milan. The museum situates the project within the broader cultural fabric of Miami, aligning high fashion with the city’s contemporary art and design scene.

Opening hours are 10:00 am to 7:30 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday. They are extended to 10:30 pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, allowing both daytime and late-evening visits. This schedule is designed to accommodate locals, tourists, and fashion enthusiasts planning destination trips around the exhibition.

Tickets, digital access, and gift vouchers

Tickets for the Miami edition are available through the official site dolcegabbanaexhibition.com, where visitors can also sign up for newsletter access to pre-sale windows and updates. Following its success in Europe, demand is expected to be high, especially around key travel periods and art calendar events.

In addition to standard ticketing, Dolce&Gabbana is promoting digital gift vouchers that allow buyers to gift the exhibition experience for the holidays or special occasions, redeemable for entry during the 2026 run at ICA Miami. These vouchers position the show as an experiential luxury gift—offering not an object, but access to an immersive, couture-level environment that blends fashion, culture, and art under one roof.
