New Balance’s new Coco Gauff Australian Open kit brings the world No. 1’s Melbourne look to stores for the first time. The collection launches for the 2026 Australian Open with matching apparel and footwear that mirror Gauff’s on-court, practice, and walk-on outfits in select global markets.

A New Chapter for Gauff and New Balance

New Balance presents the kit as a key step in its partnership with Coco Gauff, linking her rise in tennis and style to a clearer product story. For the first time, a version of her Grand Slam kit is on sale, which points to a stronger focus on fans during major tournaments.

“From the moment Coco joined the New Balance family, we’ve been inspired by her evolution, both as an athlete and as a style icon…This kit reflects that journey: bold, confident, and beautifully expressive. We’re thrilled to offer it at retail for the first time, inviting fans to share in Coco’s signature style,” said Julie Pike, Senior Vice President of Global Apparel at New Balance.

Color, Design, and Storytelling

The Australian Open kit is built around three looks: on court, practice, and walk on. Each is linked to a different moment in Gauff’s tournament story. The color palette, hot marigold, navy blue, and daybreak periwinkle, is inspired by the Australian landscape and designed to stand out against the blue Melbourne courts.

“Working with New Balance on my Australian Open kit gave me the chance to design something that’s not just about performance, but also about style and self-expression…I wanted something that felt powerful yet feminine – and shared my love for bold colors and the beach! I’m excited that fans can now wear a kit inspired by my on-court look. It’s a special way to share this journey with them,” said Gauff.

Release Date and Access

New Balance states that Coco Gauff’s Australian Open kit is available starting January 17 online in select global markets, at all New Balance flagship stores except Oxford Street in London, and at the brand’s Federation Square pop up in Melbourne for the tournament. The pieces are priced between $65 and $175, placing the kit in a premium performance apparel tier while remaining accessible relative to many signature footwear collaborations.

The mix of e-commerce, flagship stores, and event based retail shows a combined approach, pairing global reach with a strong on the ground presence at the Australian Open. It mirrors how major brands increasingly use sports as both performance showcases and retail touchpoints.

A Kit Built for Performance

New Balance presents the collection as built to perform on court, with cuts that allow easy movement and still reflect Gauff’s style. The perforation, stretch fabrics, and looser tracksuit fit are designed for hot match days, and the time spent off court between sessions.

The footwear line up adds a new CG2 colorway and two new Coco Delray colorways under the same story. For players and fans, the kit offers a simple way to wear a version of a top ranked player’s Grand Slam look at a time when tennis outfits are about as popular as performance gear.
