Nike Basketball welcomes an elite new class of NIL athletes for 2025 with Aaliyah Chavez and Brandon McCoy and Tyran Stokes joining its industry-leading roster and redefining the future of the game.

Meet the Nike Class of 2025 (Three Standout Athletes)

Nike’s Class of 2025 NIL signings represent the top high school talents poised to set the standard for basketball excellence and innovation.

  • Aaliyah Chavez enters the University of Oklahoma as the nation’s No. 1 high school player and the first top overall recruit to sign with the Sooners. Her dominant prep career included state and national Player of the Year honors, a high school championship, nearly 4,800 points, 1,300 rebounds, and multiple Nike Nationals titles with her AAU squad.

  • Brandon McCoy, a premier class prospect, brings his talents to Sierra Canyon after an impressive junior season at St. John Bosco High School. He’s fresh off MVP-level performances at the Mamba League Invitational, U19 FIBA World Cup, and the Nike EYBL Peach Jam where he averaged 22 points per game.

  • Tyran Stokes, another No. 1 ranked player, stars at Notre Dame High School and owns gold medals at the FIBA U17, U19 World Cups, and Americas Championship. Stokes averaged 21 points and 9 rebounds last season, underscoring his elite status in the national conversation.

More Than Sponsorship (Nike’s Holistic NIL Approach)

Nike’s NIL partnerships extend far beyond simple branding deals. Each athlete receives career-building support—individualized media training, product feedback opportunities, branding guidance, and content creation tools—to help them thrive on and off the court. They are also part of a tight-knit roster already featuring stars like Ace Bailey, Jazzy Davidson, AJ Dybantsa, Dylan Harper, Jerzy Robinson, and JuJu Watkins.

Sarah Mensah, President of Nike Basketball, emphasized how these collaborations are designed to uplift the entire athlete, she said:
“Our approach delivers industry-leading support that serves the athlete holistically—in performance, in their business development and in championing the next generation through innovation and meaningful connections to the community.”

NIL partnerships with Nike give athletes a voice in product design and testing, a platform for social impact, and continued alignment with Nike’s five-decade legacy as the brand for athletes driving sport forward.

Shaping the Future of Basketball Culture

This year’s additions are also catalysts for change within the game.

  • Aaliyah Chavez says she wants to inspire young girls everywhere, Aaliyah Chavez said: “Partnering with Nike to help grow the women’s game is really exciting. I want to show the next generation that if you put your mind to it, you can achieve it.”

  • Brandon McCoy called the signing a dream come true, Brandon McCoy said, “Knowing I’m backed by the best gives me even more hunger to work hard, give back to the youth, and be the best version of myself.”

  • Tyran Stokes sees Nike as joining a legacy, Tyran Stokes said: “I want to work with Nike not just for me, but to elevate the voices in my community and help shape the future of footwear and apparel—for all young athletes.”

The Legacy Continues (Inspiring the Next Generation)

Nike’s 2025 NIL roster reflects its commitment to leadership, creativity, and the power of sport to change lives. By championing diverse young talent, offering next-level support, and keeping athletes at the heart of its innovation, Nike ensures that tomorrow’s stars will keep pushing basketball culture forward—on the court and beyond.
