Fontainebleau Las Vegas introduces a new museum experience that celebrates legendary moments in sports and entertainment history. The Hall of Excellence features rare artifacts and trophies from some of the greatest athletes and teams of all time.

On June 18, seven-time NFL Super Bowl champion Tom Brady, renowned sportscaster Jim Gray, and Fontainebleau Development Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Soffer unveiled the Hall of Excellence at Fontainebleau Las Vegas—a museum dedicated to honoring the most significant moments in sports and entertainment history. The Hall of Excellence officially opened its doors to the public on Friday, June 20, offering visitors an unprecedented look at the artifacts and stories that have shaped generations.

A Museum That’s More Than a Museum

The vision for the Hall of Excellence was clear from the outset: to create a space where the greatest achievements in sports and entertainment could be celebrated and shared.

Tom Brady, reflecting on the opening, emphasized the importance of community and support in reaching greatness:

“Everybody in the [Hall of Excellence] has people that inspired them, that supported them, that held them up,” Brady said. “Nobody can do it alone; we all need each other, we need to support one another, we need to build people up. There’s no greater destination in the world for this ‘Smithsonian’ of sports artifacts. In fact, I don’t think the Smithsonian can handle what we put together!”

Jim Gray, co-creator of the Hall, addressed the crowd with a message about the museum’s deeper meaning:

“The Hall of Excellence is more than a museum, it is a movement. They’re living reminders of what it means to sacrifice, to strive, to overcome. May this hall remind us of where we’ve been, challenge us on where we’re going and always call on us to live, to strive, to commit to excellence,” Gray told those attending the unveiling.

Jeffrey Soffer, who helped bring the project to life, shared his sense of awe at the museum’s completion:

“It’s come together in such a way, it’s beyond what I ever thought it would be. The ability to take you through and relive these milestones, it takes you back to your childhood,” Soffer said.

A Collection Like No Other

The Hall of Excellence features hundreds of artifacts that highlight the moments, milestones, people, and plays that have inspired generations. Among the standout pieces on display:

The museum’s Trophy Room is a visual celebration of achievement, featuring 10 of the most iconic trophies in sports: the Vince Lombardi Trophy, the Heisman Trophy, the Claret Jug, the MLB Commissioner’s Trophy, the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy (NBA Finals), Wimbledon, U.S. Open Golf and Tennis trophies, the Pete Rozelle Super Bowl MVP Trophy, Olympic gold medals, and more.
