Americans rally for a Big Game Monday that unites work and family and celebration.

A Movement to Change the Calendar

Gopuff, the leading instant commerce platform, has teamed up with seven-time World Champion, entrepreneur and philanthropist Tom Brady, and comedian and actor Druski.

They are making a bold push to make the Monday after the Big Game a federally recognized holiday.

Their joint effort supports “The Super Monday Off Coalition,” a nonprofit whose sole mission is to turn this national tradition into an actual day off for everyone.

Why Super Monday Matters

“The Big Game brings every single American together,” stated Yakir Gola, co-founder and co-CEO of Gopuff. “That’s why the Monday after the Big Game must become Super Monday an official federal holiday that honors our love for competition, victory, and the greatest country on Earth”.

Yakir Gola added. “By supporting The Super Monday Off Coalition, we’re putting real action behind a cultural truth. Now, the President and Congress have a chance to do something truly historic. They can recognize a tradition that already unites this country and create a national holiday Americans will celebrate for generations to come”.

A recent Harris Poll found that 43% of working Americans believe the Monday after the Big Game should be a holiday. Over half wish their employer would give them the day off.

The economic impact is just as real: $3 billion in lost productivity annually.

Gopuff argues that an official holiday would turn unpredictability into planned celebration, benefiting families, workers and businesses alike.

The Campaign (HARD PASS)

As part of the launch, Tom Brady and Druski are front and center in Gopuff’s new “HARD PASS” campaign.

It humorously highlights the struggle of returning to work the day after the Big Game.

The ad premiering during the Thanksgiving Day matchup on FOX uses celebrity clout to rally viewers behind the cause.

“Going into work the day after the big game? Hard pass,” said Tom Brady. “A massive number of employees unexpectedly call out of work the day after the Big Game. This creates a huge headache for businesses across the country and a drag on our economy. That’s why I’m deepening my partnership with Gopuff to tackle this problem head-on. Together, we’re supporting The Super Monday Off Coalition. We are advocating for an official holiday after the Big Game.”

How Gopuff and Fans Are Funding the Fight

Gopuff is committing real dollars: 1% of profits from its Super Monday Off collection will be donated to The Super Monday Off Coalition through February 8, 2026 (up to $25,000 per week).

Customers can also add a donation card or contribute directly through the app. The campaign encourages fans to sign the petition and contact legislators at SuperMondayOff.com.

Super Monday’s Promise for Working Families

“Declaring Super Monday a national holiday is the ultimate pro-family, pro-worker, pro-America win,” added Yakir Gola. “Workers return Tuesday refreshed and fired up. Kids get to relive the glory with their parents instead of sleeping in class. Businesses plan ahead instead of scrambling. And every American gets one more day to feel proud of the red, white, and blue.”

How to Join the Super Monday Movement

Supporters can order from Gopuff, donate via the app, sign the petition and urge elected officials to act.

With big names and a clear purpose, this unified campaign hopes to transform a well-loved American ritual into a celebratory, nationwide day off for all.
