HOKA brings its maximal cushioning and bold design language to the heart of Brooklyn.

A New Home in Williamsburg

HOKA has signed a lease for a new 4,148-square-foot storefront at 91 N. Sixth Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, marking the brand’s latest move to deepen its presence in New York City.

The upcoming space will sit on one of Williamsburg’s most trafficked retail corridors, positioning HOKA directly in front of a style-conscious, active urban audience.

While an opening date has not yet been announced, the lease confirms that Brooklyn will soon join Manhattan as a key showcase market for the fast-growing performance and lifestyle footwear brand.

HOKA’s Third Store in New York City

The Williamsburg location will be HOKA’s third branded store in New York City. The brand already operates two Manhattan stores:

  • 172 5th Avenue in the Flatiron neighborhood

  • 579 5th Avenue at 47th Street in Midtown

Together, these three locations will create a triangle of access across some of the city’s busiest districts, giving runners, walkers and sneaker enthusiasts more opportunities to experience HOKA’s product lineup in person from its signature maximal-cushion road shoes to trail models and lifestyle silhouettes.

Why Williamsburg Is a Strategic Next Step

Williamsburg has evolved into a hub where fashion, fitness and culture intersect. By opening on N. Sixth Street, HOKA taps into a neighborhood known for foot traffic, creative energy and a strong community of active residents who value both performance and aesthetics.

The larger 4,148-square-foot format also opens the door to immersive in-store experiences, including:

  • Full product try-on and gait assessment

  • Storytelling around design, cushioning and technology

  • Community runs and local events rooted in Brooklyn’s streets and waterfront

Tecovas Joins the Block

The same release notes that Tecovas, the Austin-based Western footwear, apparel and accessories brand, will also open a 4,174-square-foot store at 89 N. Sixth Street, just steps from HOKA.

Tecovas already operates a location in SoHo, and this Brooklyn expansion further cements N. Sixth Street as a diverse retail destination where performance running, Western heritage, and contemporary style all coexist.

What This Means for NYC Shoppers

For New Yorkers, the addition of a HOKA store in Williamsburg means easier access to the brand’s full range of models, fittings and in-person service especially for Brooklyn-based runners and walkers who previously trekked to Manhattan for the full experience.

For HOKA, it signals continued confidence in brick-and-mortar retail and in New York City as a flagship market, using thoughtfully placed stores to introduce more people to its “time to fly” philosophy now on both sides of the East River.
