New Balance has launched the Bukayo Saka ‘7egacy’ Edition. It’s a global release of a custom Furon v8 colorway designed with the Arsenal and England star.

The boot keeps all the high-performance features of the Furon v8. It uses its design to tell Saka’s story on and off the pitch.

Bukayo worked closely with New Balance designers to ensure the boot still feels like the Furon v8 players know.

However, it features visuals that are entirely his own. The result is a limited-edition model that blends elite tech with deeply personal details.

Icons That Tell His Story

The upper is covered in hand-drawn graphics chosen by Saka to represent key parts of his life:

• A lion for leadership and courage

• A bible and dove for his faith

• A key as a reminder to stay focused on his goals

“I wanted to create a boot that shares my story with the fans who inspire me every day. From faith to football, everything I care about is woven into this design,” stated NB Athlete Bukayo Saka.

Bukayo Saka added “New Balance gave me the freedom to be fully creative from the colors and textures and even the marketing campaign that surrounds this boot. I was involved in every step of the process and I’m proud of what we created. Now it’s up to others to create their own stories with them.”

The Furon v8 Bukayo Saka ‘7egacy’ Edition is built to stand out under stadium lights.

An anodized metallic film and premium hologram plate treatment amplify a rich mix of burgundy, silver and white, giving the boot a sharp, polished look.

Finishing touches make it unmistakably Saka:

• His number 7 sits boldly on the heel

• “Saka” is printed on the lace aglets

• His personal logo is imprinted on the footbed

“Through Their Eyes” (A Launch for the Next Generation)

To highlight Saka’s impact on young players, New Balance built the launch around “Through Their Eyes,” a community campaign focused on London’s grassroots football scene.

Eight young storytellers used disposable cameras to capture football as they see it: local pitches, friends, and real emotions.

These young athletes will also attend a community event with workshops and panels exploring how football can be a form of personal expression, on and off the pitch.
