Adidas has officially announced a landmark 10-year partnership with Spanish football club Sevilla FC, marking a significant return to their roots and a bold step forward for both brands. The agreement, set to begin with the 2025/26 season and run through 2034/35, will see Adidas provide playing and training kits for Sevilla’s men’s first team, women’s team, and academy squads.
This deal not only ends Sevilla’s three-year partnership with UK-based Castore (who had previously taken over from Nike), but also reunites the LaLiga club with Adidas, who last supplied their kits during the 1970s and 80s.
A Partnership Built on Heritage and Ambition
Both Sevilla FC and Adidas have expressed enthusiasm for the renewed collaboration, highlighting their shared values and ambitions on the international sports stage.
“This new union reinforces the connection between the two brands with a strong identity in the international sports scene. The club stands out for its competitive nature and its consolidated presence in European football. Adidas is a historic brand and a global benchmark in the sports industry, especially in football, where it has been setting trends for decades,” Sevilla FC said.
For Adidas, the decision to partner with Sevilla is strategic, reflecting both the club’s growing stature and the brand’s commitment to innovation and excellence in football.
“The value of the club’s brand and our continental and national success and the solid growth of our retail figures in recent seasons have been decisive for Adidas to commit to a global and strategic project,” Adidas said. “As an integral partner, Adidas will offer 360-degree support to maximize both sporting performance and official product sales, with a special focus on innovation, technology and exclusive design.”
Adidas Expands Its LaLiga Presence
With this deal, Sevilla becomes the second LaLiga club in Adidas’s roster, joining giants Real Madrid. The move strengthens Adidas’s presence in Spanish football and highlights the brand’s long-term investment in the league’s future.
Looking Ahead
The partnership promises not just new kits, but a holistic approach to performance and branding. Adidas has committed to providing 360-degree support, focusing on cutting-edge technology, innovative design, and maximizing both on-field performance and off-field merchandise sales.
Fans can look forward to exclusive kit designs that pay homage to Sevilla’s rich history while embracing the latest in sportswear innovation. The collaboration is poised to elevate Sevilla’s global profile and offer supporters new ways to connect with their club.
