The inaugural Sports Illustrated Women’s Games launches in October with world-class talent community engagement and a new focus on growing women’s flag football.
Toyota has strengthened its commitment to women’s sports as the official Flag Football sponsor for the inaugural SI Women’s Games, taking place at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, California, this October. This landmark event will spotlight elite competitors from a range of sports, offer fans interactive experiences, and promote the continued growth of women’s flag football as part of Toyota’s wider partnership with the NFL.
All-Star Talent and High-Profile Events
Sports Illustrated—an icon of sports journalism—has announced the first wave of standout athletes who will compete during the six-day event. Fans in attendance will have the chance to watch global sports stars such as:
- Diana Flores (Flag Football, Team Americas)
- Sloane Stephens (Tennis, Team Americas)
- Dearica Hamby (Basketball, Team Americas)
- Jordyn Poulter (Volleyball, Team Americas)
- Jade Carey (Gymnastics, Team Americas)
- Bryony Page (Trampoline, Team World)
- Helen Maroulis (Wrestling, Team Americas)
- Raz Hershko (Judo, Team World)
With over 120 athletes expected to participate, each night will feature a different sport, highlighted by Team Americas vs. Team World matchups.

The Games will run from Tuesday, October 28, through Sunday, November 2, 2025. Major events include:
- Flag Football: Oct. 28, 6pm PST
- Combat Sports (Judo/Wrestling): Oct. 29, 6pm PST
- Volleyball: Oct. 30, 6pm PST
- Gymnastics: Oct. 31, 6pm PST
- Basketball: Nov. 1, 2pm PST
- Tennis + Awards: Nov. 2, 2pm PST
Fans unable to attend in person can catch all the action broadcast exclusively on ION, with stream options via Amazon Fire TV, Prime Video, and On Demand highlights and profiles.
Fan Zones, Community Programming, and Junior Showcases
Frontwave Arena will also host the free Frontwave Fan Zone, open before and after matches. Attendees will enjoy athlete meet-and-greets, interactive youth sports clinics, premium partner experiences, and appearances by local and national sports personalities.
Before main matches, junior exhibitions will give up-and-coming talent a moment on the big stage—an investment in the future of women’s sports and the local community. Ticket buyers can enjoy discounted rates for kids under 12, seniors, and military members.
